Kansai,

To paraphrase Billy Madison, "We are all dumber for having read that."

Ouch! I'm sorry Will. I thought this was a let's-elevate-the-mundane-to-the-level-of-Capital-H-High-Capital-A-Art thread. Dumb me. Turns out its just a thread about watering. A pretty good one too--up until the chit-chat.

Bates, talk to Bates, I have nothing to do with him, he's only my teacher. Why do people confuse me with him?

Back to watering....

Big Smile In denial Will?

Don't even know how to tell you this Will. Bates has agreed for me to become his agent. He is flying to Melbourne early August for our Spring. I have around fifty gigs lined up for him and he will be the drawcard at the Victorian bonsai show in October. A major reason for this move was that he became disenchanted with your increasing demands that he appear every Saturday morning at the car yard doing bonsai related stuff to attract customers for your car sales. He felt (and i can relate to this) that he was losing grip of his Master status. Being used, was how he put it to me. Even with my 40% fee the Master will still be a rich and sought after person after he has pulled off the programme laid out for him. He is talking restraining order against anyone trying to thwart him (i taught him that word, sort of grows on you) It's time for this mu Master to make some serious money from his obvious talents. Yours in Worldwide bonsai$ harmoney. Digger Barns

The usual scenario, Bates is used to this sort of thing.

To date there has been...

179 people claiming to be his students who are not.
79 woman claiming to be carrying his baby.
5 people claiming to be his brother or sister.
19 woman claiming to be his mother.
3 men claiming to be his lover.
12 bonsai clubs listing him as a member.
32 people claiming to have taught him.
1 Fish claiming he was a fraud.
13 states claiming they have warrants.
And 1623 people claiming to be his agent.

Really Ash, I thought you were above this sort of thing.

Sorry Fish, thats just patronising....Forums are an arena for voicing opinion and personal views - whether it meets your criteria is irrelevant.

Arnie,

I did not set any criteria for response.

If I had, my point may be irrelevant. However, without such comment on my part, I cannot see how your post (quoted above), holds any substantive value whatsoever.

Fish.
