Anyone Know If A Bluebell Tree Is Suitable For Bonsai?
Hello, I can't find any info whatsoever on this 'bluebell' tree online. I've come across a very old/large tree and understand it's one of three in our province. This spring it had huge 'bluebell' flowers on it......their is a chance this tree may be taken down as part of future development within 1-2 years.
I'm curious about air layering it or taking cuttings....but first was curious if anyone has any knowledge on this type of tree? Thru the internet I found some links to short 'comments' by some Europeans in 'favourite' tree contests but no pictures or other discussion and only name I've heard for it was 'bluebell tree' by one local. thanks! (PS, today I finally did my own/fully from scratch bonsai on a dwarf spruce/will post pics separately this week hopefully, thanks for all info in the forums and prior support!) |
