Lightbulb Any Idea For This Driftwood ?

I have this driftwood I want to make a Tanuki with 2 juniper Shimpaku , do you have any idea for the styling of this ?

Hi, first things first, I've never produced a Tanuki. My Bonsai experience is that of a 4 year novice. That said, I would rotate the wood 30-45 degrees and make this a cascade style tanuki. As for the placement of the live junipers, I would think it to be somewhat related to the size and shape of the seedlings and the possible channels in the dead wood.

I think that your project looks great. Have you tried doing this in several differnet angles? Like what Jay has suggested? I would if ya havent, just to get a good idea of what it would look like.
