STNG: Next Generation Bonsai
Occasionally you'd see bonsai in the living quarters of members of the crew of Star Trek: The Next Generation
I saw on one of the online auctions that the action figures enjoy bonsai, too: Among the accessories that ship with Captain Beverly Picard's figure is a bonsai tree that looks a little like it was styled by Dr. Seuss himself. It can be seen behind the little typewriter at the left of this photo: http://slithytoves.sytes.net/~dthie...ys/stprop01.jpg Yesterday I saw the Fry's Electronics ad had used an image of a bonsai tree as the displayed image on its LCD and CRT monitors. Maybe I'll get a scan of that up tomorrow! Other STNG news: Voyager: Season 5: A tricorder's isodyne relays malfunction when analysis identifies a bonsai tree as a maple. Regards, Matt

There was also a bonsai (twig in pot) in the commercial advertising for the hulk and mountain dew. If you pay attention, you can see bonsai in tv quite often.
