The North Carolina Arboretum has the details up for the 9th Carolina Bonsai Expo in Asheville, NC. http://www.ncarboretum.org/Horticul...bonsai_expo.htm Oh - Interstate 40 update. Two lanes are open now, one going each way with some restrictions on large trucks. The other two...well, a 300-400ft section had about half the road fall into the Pigeon River. Repair time is estimated at 8-12 months (again).

How about we meet there Saturday morning at 9:30. I'll be arriving in Asheville on Friday afternoon to put my trees on display so I will have plenty of time to meet anyone for a coffee or lunch or a beer ;o)

Have to pass on coffee Saturday morning - I'm taking the workshop. The Chamie I have hasn't given me enough grief - I want another one. (I'm still new, and it's a bit finicky about wiring and/or my technique can stand some improvement...but I do love 'Boulevard's blue foliage.) I'll be around the rest of Saturday & Sunday. Don't they have nametags? I'll put my 'moniker' on the tag, too.
