Cool, Simon says 360 bonsai is the future.
I have been thinking when/if we have a worthy tree to offer up here we could link up a short video of the tree spining on a turntable for 360 viewing to go along with the pics...I stole this idea from Ron when buying a tree thru email..hehe. Walters stuff always looks so good, gif anime or not. |

I think that tree'd be a lot better w/o the subcrown. I think I'm in the minority though.

Good infommercial for what I take to be a companion site to Art of Bonsai.
My trees look good from all sides as well but I know where the front is. :-) TimR

This isn't one of my favorite trees of Mr. Pall's.The 360 degree view makes it even less so.To me....the turning emphasises all of the faults more than it showcases the attributes.Maybe I am just closed minded though.
I enjoy studying trees from all angles as much as anyone...but i also like to have a clear and leisurely look at the best "front".The same as with any sculpture, living or not.I may walk around a great sculpture and study it from all angles, but generally there IS a preferred viewing angle.....whether chosen by the artist, the displayer or myself. andy
