What is my Bonsai?

I really need to know so I can take care of it properly. The person who gave it to me did not tell (nor does he know) what kind of tree it is. May I please have some help?

PS: Thanks in advance!

It appears to be a Fukien Tea tree. Do a search for the care. Also update your profile in the User CP. It allows to know your location for better help.

Ok, thanks guys. That's what I was thinking it was.

How should I water this? I hear that a bunch of people mist there plants; should I do the same?

What should I feed it with? Will liquid Miracle Grow work?

From my pictures, can anyone suggest any pruning tips?

Fukien Tea. Not much of a beginner's tree as they are so finicky. Unfortunately, they are sold to beginners all too readily. Read Read and read some more. use the search feature on this site. I've thought of tossing mine for years now, but since I've kept it alive, I might as well keep it going.

They are very prone to Aphid and Mite infestation. You can not use harsh chemicals on it. Too much water and they drop their leaves. not enough water and they drop their leaves. Cussing at them makes them drop their leaves. Kicking them across the yard seems to bring them back to life...

Seriously, read up on it.

Bunjinent forgot one thing: move them and they drop leaves.

Basically you want to seriously think about where you put them outside and where you'll winter them inside. Don't move them except to change them from winter quarters to summer quarters, and back.

I've read so much that says they're indoor trees. The temp. here in the summer is generally 93F+. Everything that I've read also says if they get too hot, they die. Truly, where should I keep them? Outside or inside? (The ideal temp. in my Bonsai book is 65-75. 93 is way too hot.)
