What is this?
Hello there.
I recently bought a tree called an Ulmus Parvitolia which originated from China (so it says) I was wondering if someone has heard of one and if so could tell me abosolutley anything about it as i havnt got a clue. . I've already started pruning it but i need info before i hack it too much or something. ![]() Thankyou Rich.. |

Ulmus Parvifolia or Chinese elm. *They're good trees for bonsai and quite forgiving when it come to mistakes. *They should be grown outside and need a cool to cold dormant period to stay healthy. Their natural growth area is zones 6-9 but if you're in a colder climate there are ways to get it through winter with no problems. *Here's a link to the IBC site with more info. *http://www.bonsai-bci.com/species/elm.html
