Bug Undying Aphids on Fukien - Aarghhh! Please Help!

Hello,

My Fukien is a nice established tree, maybe 50 yrs old or so, 32" high. It was doing fine and then aphids invaded it. I researched and researched, and have sprayed it 3 times in the past three weeks. The solution mix I used was 1 tsp of neem oil & three drops of ivory dishwashing liquid in one quart of warm water. The aphids have not continued to spread, but haven't died completely. How much longer do I continue to spray my tree? It's getting plenty of sunlight, enough water, nutrients every 2 weeks, and it has a humidity tray as well. Despite the pests, it looks strong and has only lost a few leaves here and there. It's mostly the new shoots that are getting attacked, as well as the tiny flowers, and some leaves too. What else can I do? Please help!!!!

I don't bother with insecticides for aphids.

Simply take it away from where it normally stays, hold a hand behind each branch one at a time to keep it from moving too much, and hit with a strong but fine mist from a nozzle on the hose. When you knock the aphids off they won't come back. I do this on roses, and other plants, bonsai and garden plants.

Spray has to be repeated a lot because if one female's left it can produce 50-100 more in a few days, and the new ones can reproduce in a week, with another 5-10 new ones each within a week.
