flakmagnet I like monkeys... Join Date: Jul-2005 Posts: 3	Stratification: Hinoki Cypress? Hi there, My name's Matt, I'm 20 and from the UK and a newbie here, and I'm also new to bonsai, and though I have procured a few starters for me to toy with, I wanted to grow my own, so I bought some seeds for a hinoki cypress tree. Basically I have recieved all sorts of info, ranging from just sowing it immediatley, to in a plastic bag inside a fridge for a week, or from one place reccomended 3 months! Which would be the standard sugestion around here? Thanks, Matt

Posts: 1,833	3 days and no help for poor flakmagnet. My feelong would be to plant staightaway at this late time in the growing season. That would get them up and running before the dreaded cold weather comes.
