Pruning, Repotting, and Wiring
OK I just puned my two trees. Now I know I need to repot them... There still in the training pots I got them in and they need room to grow. I also need to wire them. Is there any amount of time I should give them before I do something. Like never Prune and repot at the same time, or anything like that. I don't want to kill my babies!

I'm new to the banzai world myself, but I wouldn't suggest pruning and repotting at the same time. Repotting is was too stressful on the tree. If you only pruned a little, it would probably be fine, but they take a long time to adjust to new soil, especially if you trim the roots.
Give it a month after you repot...can't hurt. |

In general potting and pruning at the same time is not a problem, wiring and repotting is. However this is just general information and much in bonsai is species specific. You have not told us what kind of tree or trees you are working with.

I am working with a Fukien Tea, and a Hackberry. I have pruned both trees. The Hackberry, I noticed after pruning, is over running the pot it is in. The roots on this thing are breaking the surface. The Fukien appears to be ok, but I want to put it into a larger pot for it to grow.

You couldn't possible be describing to more dissimilar trees. Hackberry is a temperate tree and must be grown outdoors. This tree you can do almost anything with it almost anytime you want to do it. The Fukien Tea on the other hand is tropical and must be grown indoors or in the tropics. It is fussy and sensitive and easily destroyed. I am no where near an expert on Funkien Tea, I don't grow many tropicals so I will not advise you on this tree. The Hackberry is capable of taking all you can throw at it as long as it is growing.
