Propagating Umbrella tree from soft cutting
I cut a piece of my umbrella tree off of the one and only trunk and placed the cutting into water. a week later i added some vitamin and fertilizer to the water (from Dallas Bonsai) and now i have noticed some roots sprouting. how long should i leave the cutting in the water before i attempt to plant it into some type of soil? and when i do plant it, what are your soil recommendations. i can get some pics up here later, if that helps
thanks! Jason |
