placement
i got a juniper, my question is where do u place it outside ?
i.e. on a picnic table on the deck, in the flower bed, or ne where outside where it will get good sunlight thanks |

Juniper like the sun... they can take several hours a day of sunlight, and actually need it. You do not say what part of the world you are from. This is important to give you good advise!
As to placement... you will want to place it where you will be able to see it and tend to its needs. Perhaps a shelf or a stand in the yard! Remember it is a tree. If it lives in your area in the ground, it will live in a pot. Just think of it as a more delicate and demanding cousin of the in ground trees.

My experience so far is that junipers are quite hardy. The only thing I do is keep them in the shade for a week or so right after repotting. After that they go in the sun. I live in South Central Kansas and it gets HOT here. Then the primary thing is to keep it where the pot won't get real hot and fry the roots.
