Nursery Stock V Pre-bonsai?
What is the difference between buying nursery stock v pre-bonsai?

same thing I would assume....the pre-bonsai may be potted in a bonsai pot, and may have the tap root cut already. The nursery stock would have none of that done yet.
Just a newbie here though ![]() Robbie |

i believe prebonsai is stock that is grown specifically for the purpose of bonsai (i.e removing the tap root, developing the nice branching and ramification etc)
