New to Bonsai from Greece :)

Hello Everyone,
My name is Sergios and i am from Greece - Athens.

I am just about to start with bonsai and wanted to ask couple questions.
I didnt found any local clubs to join and learn the basic things. Only thing i found is some flower shops which sales bonsai trees as well.

1) What is the best way to start with bonsai?
2) Suggestion for any books to buy?
3) Can i find somewhere any video courses with lessons for beginners?
4) I want to start with a Pine tree (one of local species here in Greece) is it a good choice for beginner? i just like how it looks and i think it can be styled nicely
5) Should i choose some cpecific dimensions of tree or just find the smalles one and go with it?

Any other advice that will help me will be much appreciated
