Need Help, Im New
i just turned 18 and my parents thought that I should get something special to signify age and wisdom, so they got me a bonsai beginner's kit. The kit contains seeds labeled "Jack Pine" and I haven't been able to find a picture of what a jack pine bonsai looks like. I was hoping that some one could post a picture of a jack pine bonsai, preferably a regular growth (not windworn or cascade), I would be extreamly grateful.

Re: Need Help, Im New
Hi There, tinfoiler,
Congratulations on the accomplishment. There is a website you may be interested in that follows the germination of some jack pine seeds. You can find it in our **LINKS*** section, and the link is here: http://www.memobug.com/cgi-bin/sfp/sfp.cgi?http://www.seanet.com/~jericho/bonsai/bonsai.html Also, you may want to search on this forum (not the links section) on the words JACK PINE because there was a thread or two a couple months ago with some additional links. Good luck, and remember to keep the soil damp, but not too moist, especially during germination. Regards, Matt
