I'm with Newt on the styling. If you continually clip back the upright growth, it will fill in and form a nice domed canopy much like a scheff.
Odd numbers are more aesthetically pleasing than even so at some point I would separate out one of those trunks. Keep them all for now in case one of them croaks. |

thanks for the info. I bought it from lowe's for 20 bucks. They didnt have a wide selection (like 5-6 trees). But i wanted one. They are growing just fine in direct light, and i guess i'm just going to let it grow out since they all have that funny branch sticking straight out of the stump. I'm going to re arrange 3 on one side and one by itself. Not sure what its going to look like but its gonna take some time for it to grow out. Thanks for all your guys' help! I'm so excited for my bonsai =-)
p.s. anyone know where i can get good quality bonsai seeds? And which in your oppinion are the best looking trees that always impress? |
