you can never ask too many questions. I wish I had access to this site 4-5 years ago. It would have prevented alot of needless tree suffering. Its too bad, my first trees never had a chance. However, even as a beginner about 5-6 years ago, I managed to keep a tree alive for about 3 years. This is the great thing about this site, its like having a whole team help care for your tree.
Anyway, if its not completely pot bound, it will be fine until spring. They slow their growth down to almost nothing so you don't have to worry.
Hopefully in the next week or so, I can post some pictures of the trees ( mostly evergreens ) that I have been working on.
This is a juniper that I picked up at a garden center last year. It was basically just a bush , but had good potential. This is after the initial pruning and potting. Normally, for evergreens you would use an unglazed pot ( brown or tan colored unglazed ), but I could not find a suitable unglazed pot at the time. I did not wire or style it until this year. The pic only shows after the pruning. I hope to post a pic of the tree now that it has been styled and wired. It does look quit different.

As someone said way up above, I am trying to get into a beginners class. The beginners class at my bonsai nursery is with a juniper too. The bad part is they havent put up or emailed the new class schedule for this year yet so i don't exactly know when the class is going to be. I just hope i can get off of work for the class, (its on a saturday).
