Kumquat, Hyssop, Mesquite, & Desert Fern Tree
Hello,
I'm new to bonsai and really enjoying it. At the moment I am growing a Desert Fern that I purchased from a garage sale, a Hyssop seedling from a cheap bonsai kit, a Mesquite tree seedling that just sprouted last night and is already an inch tall. And I am planning to buy a nursery grown fruit bearing Kumquat tree from a local nursery. From these four I plan to take my time and enjoy the learning experience. I have exhuasted online resources for these four trees, and with the exception of the Desert Fern I am looking for any information from those expereinced with those trees I mentioned above. I am looking for a little more information that usually comes from experience. I've already received great feedback for the desert fern and from what I have heard of mesquite trees I am lucky to even sprout one (though they grow like weeds here in Tucson). Anyway, any information is appreciated. Thanks for reading. |
