Informal Cascade

The informal cascade does sound interesting. The more I think about it, the more I think I like it...I will have to get that book. Are there any pictorial on-line examples of this?

sorry no infomationw as found on the internet..but ill give u more of a feel of this style from my knoledge.
Informal Cascade style- Kengai
informal cascade implies a lack of a dominant apex. An apex may remain as dead would at the top - or aka a jin. an apex may be present as a raised upper branch, but often the apex is conspicously absent. Strong rootage is stresed, and an unusual contortion of the trunk line favored. By keeping the foilage light and well trimmed, long branch reaches can be attained without tipping over the pot. This style sometimes does not extend below the bottom of the pot as in the formal cascade style...The number of options u have with this style is just wonderful ..
so no matter what you will find somthign you like.
the only known knoledge of this style that i have ever seen is in the Bonsai WOrkshop by Herb Gustafson.
so this book is truely a most in your situation...
DO as u must...but this is just my opinion on how i would do it.
