i just purchased a small beginner juniper bonsai. it is roughly 3 inches in height a little brown here and there. when i bought it for 5.99 i had to transfer it into a bonsai pot. i want to learn how to train it to look sweet i have an idea i will post next to this. please help and give detailed suggestions on how i should go about sculpting it. i was wondering if miracle grow would speed up the growing proccess. also if it matters the ceramic holder i have for it is black and 3 by 6 or so.and oval.
hit me back thanks

Without seeing the tree you have it would be hard to give you any meaningful advice in styling it.
If you have a means to take a digital picture, or scan a photograph, we can just give you advice about keeping it alive, ***FAQ*** or suggest you review some of the work in the Bonsai Transformations folder of the Best of bonsaiTALK section. The new Sunset book called "Bonsai" is a good one for starting out. You can find that at Amazon.com or your better bookstores. Regards, Matt
