I knew not what I did
I have had a bonsai for 6 months now I havent had any problems. It has been healthy all the while. It is an evergreen, but two weeks ago I prunned it and its not doing too well the upper needles are falling off and on one of the branches the tree is turning brown. I also placed pebbles around the base so I'm not really sure what is the problem. Anyway, I removed the pebbles and I placed it outside. I intend on keeping it out 24/7 untill it is nursed back to health. The tree has always had the proper ammount of sunlight and water. Also, it has lived inside all the time.
I would be most gracious for anyone's help, thanks. |

If by evergreen you mean pine or conifer, it belongs outside, they do not do well inside at all. Six months is about right for the time frame to let you know it's not happy...remember how long Christmas trees stay green.
Post some pictures? Will |
