Help With My Stump

Im a beginner and was just wondering if someone could tell me what they think i should do with this tree the first pick is just the front view. The second pic is of the dead wood area and it is actually rotting a little bit. the next pic is of the other deadwood area which is not rotting. Im just wondering if anyone thinks that i should cut anything off and tips like that. this is my first tree so i am trying to make it work.

Errrr

Errr....I have to ask. What, exactly, happened to this tree?

I think it could be a pretty cool tree, perhaps even hollowing out that scar on the front, and perhaps making some nice deadwood at the tip where the bark has pulled back. Although, right now, I think you should leave it alone and let it grow some.

You need to let it grow unhindered for this season to build healthy roots. Maybe next spring or the year after you can start to style it. Is that a mulberry stump?

I agree with the others. Leave the poor thing alone this year, feed it, and let it do its thing. Is that a bucket it is growing in?
