Help with my jack pine seeds
I have been wanting to do bonsai for a while and while i was at the book store in the mall with some freinds i saw the mini bonsai kit at the check out line. It was only six dollars so i bought it hopeing to have some fun with it. I germinated to seeds and plated them in the peat pellet the kit came with and placed it in a shallow trey filled with water like the book said about a week and a half ago. It is in my sun room so it gets plenty of sun shine but the problem is its michigan and its about 50 degrees out in the sun room. Is it ok to grow them out there and will they even sprout at this tempature or should i just wait and plant new seeds in the spring? Are jack pine seeds suitable for bonsai or should i start with a different species? Thanks to anyone who helps me.
