Dennis, we'd need to know how thick and how young.

Up to a point you can use wire alone, a branch jack, a branch splitter, a splitter and a branch jack,

Do you have a picture?

Regards,

Matt

The thickness is about 4cm in diameter.I willl find out how old it is.But I think taking in the account of the thickness of trunk how old do you think it is.This tree was harvested from a garden and I pruned it to about 13 -14 cm. The root structure was well developed.

Dennis, I don't appreciate you posting that same photograph a dozen times to the Gallery. That area is for show quality trees, not for multiple iterations of the same bad photo. This only makes more work for me.

As to your question, the trunk of your tree is too short and too thick to bend. You might consider cutting it back to a more convenient point and growing it on from there. I would offer more but I am tired of looking at it.

Please don't do this again.

Regards,

Matt
