Ginkgo Leaves Drooping

i found a ginkgo seedling growing under my deck so i put it in a pot but the leaves are drooping so that from the top you can only see the bottoms of the leaves. the tree just started getting a seni wooded stem. is this normal?

It's dehydrated. You either did not collect enough roots or disrupted the root system too much. Cut off all the leaves except the smallest one and keep it in the shade. Filtered shade is fine.

Matt
