Question Fast Grower

Wich tropical tree could be ideal for a bonsai and fast grower

Could I cut the main trunk to make the tree smaller what precution I should take?

How can I increase the circunference of the trunk?

How do I made smaller leaves?

You could start with a tree that has those characteristics you seek.

Hi Link,

It seems that your questions are a little out of order..

.. get yourself a ficus .. plant it in the ground .. when the trunk is the size you desire .. chop the trunk to the desired height and grow new canopy..
then dig from the ground and place in pot. Over the next couple years defoliate at least once in early summer and the leaves will begin to reduce.
There are many varieties of ficus and available there in Page Ranking.

Thanks for the help. I have been looking for a ficus nerifolia but I can't find it. I even went to a nurseri.

There are two clubs in Page Ranking .. contact them and I'm sure you will find what you are looking for .
A ficus Benjaminia will work well, also.
What plants did you see at the nursery ?
