cutting new growth on pines?

cutting new growth on pines?

Hi,when the time comes to cut the new growth on my black pine,to keep the branches short,how much new growth on each branch can i cut bacK?Im worried about the sap line drying up.Can i trim just some or all new growth?

This question has already been asked many many times and you too can read what some of the experts had to say on the matter by clicking the search button. You do however have one option and that is buying Stone Lantern' Pines book. Very good read by the way.
