chinese elm landscape

i have been looking through my bonsai book and came across landscapes !!

this is now my project ?

i have a oval pot which is perfect but i want some small 1+3 year old elms ,
is there anywhere on the net i can get some good small quiet cheap elms from in the uk ??

plus any help form anyone will be great on designs , thanks

I'm in the USA, but I know of bonsai some businesses in the UK.

You would definately be better off going to buy in person, because even if you purchase the same material you might get online, walking through a bonsai nursery is an experience worth having, especially for the beginner.

I don't know what's near you, but here are some UK bonsai businesses:
Heron's (Peter Chan
Dai Ichi
Kaizen

I'm sure our British colleagues can chime in with a lot more.

This should help! I have ordered from them myself, They were all greatly packaged and were around 2-3 yrs old!

Unfortunately they dont eem to have sufficient stock of Chinese elm. You could either wait or you could make do with Jaqquiline Hillier elms.

will the Jaqquiline Hillier elms live indoors too as will chinese elm for a landscape ??

This is just an opinion, but in my climate no elms do well indoors. Maby they do were you live but I have had know luck with them inside. Elm237

Some suggest that elms can be kept indoors, but I also have found they do not fare well inside. They are outside trees.
