Question Chinese Elm Dull Dark green Leaves

I am new to Bonsai so I thought it a good idea to join a forum like this.
I bought a 15 year old Chinese Elm 12 months ago
I have been keeping it in my conservatory the hole time along with 2 other small cheep Bonsai.
The Elm has been doing great all year growing continuosly
I have kept pruning to keep the shape and its responded well
The growing stopped during the colder months as I was expecting and I didn't let it get too cold.
Now (July) and for last month the leaves have gone from being lush green to dark dull green...and it doesn't look as healthy as it did.
There are small green buds on the branches and tiny leaves as if new growth is trying to start but generally all over it looks ill.
I wondered weather this naf summer and confused it a bit.
Any ideas ?

hi shino

my elm started to become unhealthy as it warmed up as well. I checked for watering more frequently (without over watering) and moved it outside to a partly sunny spot where it recovered quite nicely. May be a bit simplistic but I'm new to this. Also, make sure you are feeding it properly.

Good luck

Yep, that's what I would do.

Put it outside in a partially shaded spot if you can. I don't have any trees I keep indoors, but from previous experience, it's usually a good way to pep up a plant that's showing a non-specific failure to thrive. They like the increased ventilation, fresh air, natural light and night/day changes you can only get outside.
