Caught a cold

I am a beginner and I was bought a Serrisa Seroides as a gift. It was on my window ledge for a day or two where I think it caught a cold. It is now in my bathroom where it is an even temperature and has natural light, no draughts, and all plants seem to thrive. The problem is the leaves seem to have gone quite crispy although still green. I water a small amount daily and also mist where am I going wrong or should I just perservere and hope I havent done serious damage?

Would really like some advice

Misting is probably not adding much. Watering should be done when the plant needs it, not on a regular schedule. You want to check the soil for moisture daily, and only water when it starts to get dry.

You can remove the crispy leaves - they are dead. If the tree is otherwise healthy, it should start pushing out some new leaves pretty soon.

Good luck.
