I don't know. *I do have a koi pond though. *There may be quite a few folks here with them. *Maybe we could start a Japanese garden thread.

 I created a pond and watergarden forum. You'll find it on the main menu down in "Almost Bonsai." No icon yet.

Here in Fresno, at the Shen Zihn Garden, We had a mysterious accident at the pond that covers about 3 acres, in that all but about 20 koi were lost. Hundreds of fish died for what seems to be no apparent reason. When the water tests come back this week I am sure we will see foul play. Estimated loss... 20,000.00 dollars. The dead fish were hauled out in large trash containers, my freezer is full, I'm having koi for Christmas dinner.
