Walter it was a blessing you took control of the tree, it has a chance to progress and as Si says the onus is on you as the master. But no fears there as there will be no margin for error in your case. Great work!

Turning out very nicely Walter, as to the demo tree I would have taken that tree home in a heartbeat . I have hacked trees much worse than that with no concern for it living. Too bad your lessons about structure, and branch balance have fallen on deaf ears, it is really an easy concept to grasp, if you let it sink in, besides look at the tree now, it will be a winner.

I love your saying about the tree has to become ugly before it gets beautiful.

Someone posted about having more of these free videos, umm someone has to pay for Walter and his peers to travel the world and teach, especially when the demo and workshop trees are being sold by the owners (with a masters provenance) for some serious ching.

Someone asked when he's going down unda - set up a workshop and he will come, the way to do it is on his site.
