Wink Shohin. Count Matsudaira Book?

In Doris Froning article on International Bonsai no.2 (2005) She mentioned some Shohin Books and she specially mentioned Count Matudaira Rare Collection Book.
Does anyone have any information of this book, how much does it cost or where can I find it, if it is a Collector's book.....?
I hope I will get all the help from anyone here!

I do believe this book is out of print. You may be able to find one listed on Ebay if you are persistent or try John Romano at
bunjingi@aol.com
He may be able to help you.

It is a wonderful book of mostly mame bonsai from 1975. It is the collection of Mame master Matsudaira who popularized small bonsai in parts of Japan during that time. It is out of print and not that easily found. I would say that it would run about $150. - $200. I can seach in Japan for it if anyone is serious about it. There is another exquisite book of shohin bonsai that I bought new in Japan in 2001 for $400. Magnificent photographs of shohin bonsai, pots and stands. It is bound in silk and stored in a wonderful silk covered folio as well. This one may still be in print. Bill Valavanis can speak more on the historical specifics of Matsudaira (he has told me about this before). I can also get the specifics (name, etc.) of the larger book as well - should be listed on Robert Baran's site.
Peace in bonsai this holiday season,
John Romano
