Review: Bonsai Today Master Series - Pines

The Norfolk Bonsai website is pleased to announce the latest in its series of detailed reviews. This time we turn our gaze on to the 'Bonsai Today Master Series - Pines’.

'Bonsai Today Master Series - Pines’ is regarded by many to be the definitive book on Japanese black and white pine bonsai. It contains more detailed information about Pine Bonsai than any other book. After reviewing the book we can say that 'Pines' is an ideal reference source for anyone with an interest in White Pines (Pinus parviflora) or Japanese Black Pines (Pinus thunbergii).

However, there have been some criticisms levelled at the book since its publication. We are please to offer the editor Michael Persiano the opportunity to respond to these criticisms.

We also have the inside story on the next Masters’ Series book...

To read our complete review and to see what Michael Persiano had to say, visit our website at www.norfolkbonsai.co.uk

Found some goodies

Nice news letter T C. Reading thru the site you will also find a referance to a Juniper guide similar to the master pine book, I checked with Stone lantern and it is out to the publisher, and expected for June, $24.95. Bet this would be a good one for a lot of people. It is available for preorder.

Thanks for your comments, I'm pleased your enjoyed the site. You are correct the next Masters Series is called 'Junipers, Growing and Styling Juniper Bonsai’ and is expected in June 2007. There are also two other Masters Series books set to be released in early 2008!
