This book is perfect for all of us who want to learn more about the things that plague our trees (and our gardens)
It can be bought used on Amazon for less than $3.00 Add postage of less than $5.00 and it's a best buy! (Yes, all the solutioons involve Ortho products, but I can live with that!) I just checked and there were 7 copies offered in that price range.  |

I have seen this book at a couple of different hardware stores. It's over in what I call the "Stinky Section" (fertilizer & insecticides) on a little podium. I think it has a great photo guide and symptom descriptions, but you have to remember that these folks are in the business of selling chemicals.
So whatever your problem is they are going most likely going to push a chemical at it. This is rarely the best approach. Practice prevention; read the guide when you have problems, but consider Integrated Pest Management first, before you go reaching for Ortho Formula 2340294. Regards, Matt
