Get them both!
Naka's widow (Alice ?) continues to sell them. (Ads in Bonsai magazines) It is not necessary to pay inflated prices on eBay (I saw a signed copy offered at a starting price of $200 YOW!!)Signed copies have been possibly more common than unsigned up to Naka's recent death. |

Fact is, Naka's books come pretty close to being priceless.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to get them for a whole lot less than $400. Last time I looked bonsaimonk.com was still selling them pretty reasonably. I haven't looked at Amazon, but I'll bet they are, too. Fred |

For those in the Los Angeles area,
Drive to San Gabriel nursery in San Gabriel, CA, and pick them up for about $50 - $60 apiece (I saw about 10 copies a few weeks ago and that's the price range I remember). I am not sure that they will have them in stock anymore if those copies are gone. Attila |

As mentioned above, you can get them directly from Alice Naka. Or if you don't want to bother her out of respect, they are also available from BCI at cover price of $25 and $35 each.

BCI, that's a great bargain Geodude. I wish I knew that source. But then again, John signed my copy in person, so I shouldn't complain.

Matt,
You should know the value of a good bobblehead in the earthquake region we live in. Just like having your own seismograph.
