Bosai design book's

I have found the Japanese maple Bonsai design book by Peter Adams to be informative and very technical.

I since have look at other Bonsai Design books by Peter Adams, But Im wondering if they are as usefull as the japanese maple one.

Of those I have found are :

Bonsai Design
Bonsai Design : Deciduous and Coniferous Trees
Bonsai Design: A Series of Practical Sketchbooks: Book 1
Bonsai Design Scots Pine Common Juniper Japanese Larch

Any tougths ?

Well, yeah, they're out of print and usually very expensive. Paying over $40 for any of them, would, I think, be a waste of money. The information in them is can be found elsewhere for alot less.

I've seen the Bonsai Designs - Japanese Maples book go on ebay for £80. That's about half the price of what I have seen this book in online stores for. One US site had it listed at $360 a while back. Yes I found they had good information in them being species specific. Personally though, I wouldn't waste my money on buying a copy, I'd spend £80 on a tree and borrow the books from the local library

Good suggestions But I havent found a copy at my club or my local librairies. All my questionning was due to a low price Bonsai Design book eBay. it was at 10$ and finish at 22$. But finnaly Ive miss the closing.
