Book Reviews With Polls
Matt, (and those who wish to add your thoughts)
Wouldnt it be great if we could single out the names of books as subject heads, leave a poll that would recommend/not recommend, and leave a review? For instance, John Naka B/T #1. (poll at top) ( this would have to be added as a poll of course at the top of the thread, it would not be located here in this narrative box) But should read something like: Recommend because of yada yada (see reviews for details) Not Recommended because of yada yada (see reviews for details) Book Decription, published, pages, author....etc (like you would see at Amazon.com or any other bookseller site) No initial review should be in the opening thread, but should be in the follow up threads..... Matt, or whomever wished, could start the thread, include the poll (a standard for every book), make sure all the details, descriptives etc are in the initial thread. Members could reply by doing the poll, and or adding their critique to the thread. Just some Saturday ramblins... Paul

This is an interesting idea. If you'd like to experiment with it you can start by creating a review message with a poll attached, maybe over in the Area 51-test area. You'll probably want to post it with just a "TEST" in the message body and then edit it after you're happy with the poll.
I think everything else you're talking about can be done in the message text. Regards, Matt
