Bonsai-Today #90: Meat & Potatoes!

My much-awaited copy of Bonsai-Today #90 arrived today and it is an excellent issue!

The 90th installment of BT is chock full of articles, and the good news is that this issue marks a return to "meat & potatoes" bonsai: material you can really sink your teeth into.

BT#90 has articles on Korean Hornbeam; deadwood treatment by Masahiko Kimura; TWO Black Pine articles by Japanese - Tomio - and Italian - Marco Invernizzi and a Black Pine gallery! Even the Americans didn't let us down this time with articles on Creeping Juniper by Michael Hagedorn of Crataegus, and Bonsai Apprentice article by Thomas Kodiak of Chicago by way of Colorado and Tokyo. Articles on Shimpaku Transformation by Nishikawa, Pest Control by Kyosuke Gunn and even an excerpt from Sunset Magazine's "Bonsai" (a primer on the important topic of watering) round out this issue

Plenty to read here, and I'm just getting into it. Have a big bite of bonsai Meat & Potatoes!

Regards,

Matt

Now would be a great time to start a subscription!

Matt,

BT #90 is fantastic. In a few weeks it will be time to work black pines down here and it's good to have some timely inspiration.

Regards,

David

Excellent issue, and it came before #91, which is due out soon. Like next week! Wow!
