This book is pretty good. It has the potential to change your view of bonsai completely--if you're willing to give it a chance. It was this book that showed me what was possible with trunk chopping and larger nursery stock. I stopped fooling around with saplings and moved on to larger more mature stock after reading it...

Reasonably good. Has a good section on air layering.

Im not asking to be spoon fed, simply asking for advice!
I'm sorry but I'm getting really fed up with the attitude of some people on this site-I dont know or care who it is but why cant you, whoever it is, say it to my face instead of hiding behind the user CP.

Im not asking to be given the expertise, simply asking for advice, which I will then act upon.Oh and I do use the search feature when I remember, but it doesnt always give me the info, and how hard is it to simply say 'its a so and so'.... instead of being all superior and quite nasty.

I have all of Peters Books. I have found them to be very helpful in my pursuit of improving my hobby. I found his last book very interesting. It is published by Readers Digest( BONSAI secrets.) His master class book was one of the first books I bought 20+ years ago.
