Artistic 'licence' ??
I only have one issue of bonsai today, #69. (see the cover on this page )
I have always looked at the cover tree and thought 'mmm yes, nice tree'. ![]() Just recently I realised that it says on the cover that the tree is a prunus incisa. Now I have one of these trees, and the fruit is NOTHING like that on the magazine cover. On the magazine there is what looks like a gold pomegranate or a christmas decoration or something. MY prunus incisa had tiny purple-black cherries, about 1/4" (6.35mm) size. Is this an example of artistic licence or is it a real prunus incisa fruit Can anyone enlighten me here? Regards, TB

It's a typo. It's not their first one BTW. They have occasionally put the wrong text with the wrong tree. It happens on the inside of the magazine too.
Deadlines, they can be a real frustration sometimes. BTW it is a pomegranate. Bonsaial
