I was given this book as a gift from a friend. Actually mine has the original title The Japanese Art of Miniature Trees and Landscapes: Their Creation, Care, and Enjoyment. It is one of the original printings of the book Matt has posted above. Also complete with original dust box. He discovered it in a secondhand book shop and had originally wanted to start bonsai, but never got around to it, so he passed the book onto me. Excellent! I went back to the same bookstore to hunt for more treasures. I found several old published bonsai books. Fun!
I agree with Matts review on this book. Excellent, tho most of mine is in Japanese....  Paul
