So, I don't get it. When did you download?

Others have indicated that the problem was solved. Again, when did you download?

Let's see, the posting defining V0.3 indicated that none of those worked yet. Sureprise! They don't work yet!

First, your statement is not entirely accurate. "Fertilizers" works just fine.

Regarding the rest of the buttons, in the thread referenced above, I said:

In order to protect you from yourselves, I disabled the related menu buttons.

Same answer as previous comment. What were you doing there in the first place? I SAID that they were not working yet. Trust me, they DON'T work right.

Brian

When i was posting i was in a bit of a rush to get to work so i didnt have time to go back through everything just thought id post the jist of what other people seemed to be saying. Seems like a lot of the problems will be sorted by a fresh download and waiting for the next release.

Cheers
Rowan

G'day Brian...Rowan...

I reloaded, and that solved the BUTTONS malfunction.

Following is a recap of problems I encountered while testing...

REFERENCE MENU
  • Styles - Error message: “…can’t open file…bonsaipix\styles…”. Press OK and Styles opens.
  • Container Types…same.
  • Soil Components…same.
  • Genera doesn’t open.
STYLES MENU – NEXT and PREV return Error Message: “…can’t open file…bonsaipix\styles…”. Press OK and Styles opens.

CONTAINER TYPES MENU…same.

SOIL COMPONENTS MENU…same.

FERTILIZERS, STYLES, CONTAINER TYPES and SOIL COMPONENTS – ADD doesn’t work.

That's all for today...over and out...

Pat

Brian and Rowan,

First of all looks very nice, when I want to open the file I get a message:

This data may not be save, when it contains a code, which could damage your computer. Do you want to open or cancel. (literal translation from Dutch)

When I click "open" I come in the main screen. This window is much smaller than it can be in Access, so I can't read all copyright text, also I can scroll very far to the right, where I don't see anything (buttons and so on) just the background

When I click on "containers", I get the message "the formname frmCon_Containers isn't correct or badly spelled or reverse to a form which don't exist"

Same for Specimens frmBon_Specimens

Soil Mixtures an Repotting, nothing happens.

Reference does work, I get an even smaller new window.
Clicking on all different buttons learns that they all work exept for Genera, Species and Variaties.
When I click "close" I return to the main menu.

Stopping by clicking "stop", closes the program, but not Access.

These are my findings, hope it'll help

Your both on the way here, looking foreward to use all functions,

Cheers Wessel

hey guys,

It looks very nice, but here are the problems I have run in to....

When I try to press the containers button I get an error message saying " the form name frnCon_Containers is misspelled or refers to a form that doesn't exist".

The Soil mixtures button does not work

The Repotting button does not work

The Genera button does not work

other than that I like what has been achieved thus far. let me know if I am just doing something wrong, or these problems have already been addressed.

To save typing, I get the same as above from Malik
Tested on
Win XP - Office2003 Pro
Win Vista - Office 2007 Pro

Note the Heading font in Pink is Arial on XP, but on Vista it shows as you do in your screen shots Brian

Hey guys, just wondered how everyone who volunteered to test is getting on, bear in mind any problems should be reported here..............

Cheers
Rowan

(PSSSSSS Please make sure you read through any reported issues carefully to make sure you are reporting a new problem and not one that has been solved/mentioned/in the process of being solved.)
