Forum Copyright Policy

bonsaiTALK has more than one thousand members and twenty thousand messages in the Community's moderated forums, and posts appear in several written languages. We provide a means for reporting actual or suspected copyright abuse on images and text, or the appearance of inappropriate or defamatory materials on our forums, and participants agree to abide by law in their activities on our forum.

A. Participants in our community warrant at registration that they will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

B. Users who upload material (which may consist of text, pictures or other documents) must adhere to the board's posted policy, which appears in the attachment pane at upload. In part, "do not upload copyrighted works, or material which you otherwise do not have permission to share."

C. Every post has a "report to moderator" link beneath it, with which a concerned party may report potential abuse to the forum moderator.

2. In accordance with these Terms and Conditions, we will remove from the community those images or text which violate our Terms and Conditions, such as pornography or images that infringe copyrights, publicity rights, privacy rights or other intellectual property rights. To report a posting which
violates our Terms and Conditions and which you want removed, please send an email notice to the bonsaiTALK Copyright Agent at copyright@bonsaiTALK.com:

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide the bonsaiTALK Copyright Agent with a notice containing the following information:

a) Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
b) Identification of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;
c) An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest;
d) Identification of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site (i.e., the complete URL of each image you believe violates our Terms and Conditions)
e) A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law;
f) A statement by you that the above information in your notice is accurate and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner's behalf.

For violations that do not pertain to the infringement of intellectual property rights, please provide:
a) Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
b) The complete URL of each image you believe violates our Terms and Conditions.

We investigate reported violations and take appropriate action within 5 business days after receipt of infringement notices.
