Judging form.

Hi,
I believe that it will be a good idea to prepare a guideline for judging form, by one our more experienced members.

I had seen one on page 249 in a book by Deborah R. Koreshoff "Bonsai" Its Art, Science, History and Philosophy.

Thanks,
Moshe,

Carmi,

Walter Pall is quite experienced in judging bonsai, as we have in the past, I'll defer all judging decisions to him. We are indeed fortunate to have such an experienced judge who is willing to not only judge the top five, but also to offer valuable critiques of the same.

Popular vote will determine the top five and these will be judged.

Will,

Is Walter going to judge the top five this year? I have seen his reviews last year... What an awseome gift to the top five.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

All the membership will be able to vote on the submissions. This will then give us the TOP 5 by popular vote.

I think Will has made it clear in his post above, that Walter will indeed then judge the 5 to place them and then offer a review/critique of each one.

Best regards,
Ian.

Will,
The form I had suggested is for member's private use to help them vote in the Popular vote.

Thanks,
Moshe.

Hi Moshe and others,

I found a kind of judging form and explanation on the EBA (European Bonsai association) site.

http://www.ebabonsai.org/default.asp?page=ntc

The judging form and part of the explanation is attached.

Moshe, is this what you mean?
