A question about malathion
Recently, as the temps were getting colder, I noticed a few pine aphids crawling amongst the recently worked on pines (the ants tip me off every time). I waited a few days, and made sure the spraying off with water didn't do the job, then applied a misting over all the pines. The following day, it rained, did it do harm to the rootballs at this colder time of year? I know not too much is happening transpiration wise in the roots, but will it sit there damaging something? Just wondering.

Hi Scott, I can't answer your question but my first instinct would be to flush or submerge the soil with water. Wouldn't that help wash the residue from the soil and roots? Or would it create more problems?
