Wiring a mugo pine
I just recently bought 2 mugo pines as nursery stock. The trees were very full of foliage, so I've done some major pruning and trimming on them. The candles were pinched back to 2 candles per branch. The trees are still left in their original nursery containers, as repotting them will be one of my last steps.
I know I should probibly wait until the tree shows signs that it is healthy before I wire the remaining branches, but around when will this be? *I'm itching to start the wiring and also to jin some of the branches I left on one of the trees. |
