What Species Are You Growing?

It might be interesting to list some of the different varieties of trees you are growing. If you have a photo in the gallery or online somewhere, you could even link those.

My goal for the upcoming year is to photograph some representative tree from each variety! I can see I have a ways to go!

Here's a start:

Acer palmatum (Japanese Maple)
Acer burgeranium (Trident Maple)
Azaleadendron satsuki (Satsuki Azalea)
Azaladendron kurume (Kurume Azalea)
Bougainvillea glabra (Bougainvillea)

Carpinus korea.. (Korean hornbeam)
Cedrus lebani (Cedar of Lebanon)
Cedrus atlantica (Atlas Cedar)

Cryptomeria japonica (Japanese Cedar)
Euonymous (Spindle)
Fagus (Beech)
Ginkgo biloba (Maidenhair Tree)
Ilex serrata (Deciduous Holly)
Ilex vomitoria (Yaupon Hollyl)
Liquidambar orientalis (Chinese Liquidamber)
Podocarpus (Buddhist Pine)

Prunus mume
(Japanese Flowering Apricot)
Pinus parviflora (Japanese White Pine)
Pinus densiflora (Japanese Red Pine)
Pinus thunb. (Japanese Black Pine)
Punica granatum (Pomegranate)
Quercus agrifolia (Coastal Live Oak)
Quercus suber (Cork Oak)
Quercus ? (Red Oak)
Juniperus californica (California Juniper)

If you need to know how to link to the museum, you can click QUOTE and it will show you the basic pattern. Let's try to keep these posts to the point with a minimum of discussion here. Feel free to ask questions and post comments elsewhere - this thread is "info only!"

Feel free to update your post as your collection or gallery changes.

Olives, olives and more olives, there everywhere man!
They make great Bonsai's and I can't walk ten feet without tripping over one around here, and apart from that there's not much else around these parts.

I have a few others but that's pretty much it. I have, I guess, 10 or 12 trees that seem pretty close to being ready for initial styling and potting that I'll consider next Spring. One thing I've learned on the internet forums is to give trees plenty of time to mature in growboxes or beds before initial styling and potting.
