seedling identification

Last fall I planted some trident maple seeds I was wondering if anyone could identify these plants and tell me if they were my maples or weeds.

Re: seedling identification

It's hard to tell at this point. The next set of leaves will be true leaves and will look like maple if that's what it is.

Re: seedling identification

This site has a cartoon diagram of a germinating maple seed, that explains what Tony is talking about.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
